The purpose of our PCR tests are to pick up the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the nose and throat. Samples are taken by self-swab, and as such you are responsible at all times for ensuring that your test is accurate. The process of taking a sample can be uncomfortable and all of our staff are property trained to assist you.
You accept that no test is 100% accurate and that there is a risk of false positives and false negatives. These risks are inherent to the testing process and we will not be obligated to offer a refund if such a result occurs.
You are responsible for ensuring the information you supply to us in connection with your order is accurate and hold no responsibility for not delivering kits to you should you provide us the wrong postcode or wrong details in the address. We will not be obliged if following the courier’s arrival at the address you provide us with there is no answer within 5 minutes and the courier therefore leaves with an incomplete test kit. We will not be obliged should you fail to administer the test yourselves and return the completed kits within a reasonable period of time to offer you a refund if the courier leaves.

If we are unable to fulfil your order due to unforeseen circumstances, we will inform you and refund you.
You may only receive a refund for your booked test from us if you change your mind within 48 hours of booking but not within 48 hours before the test is due to be made. As our tests are categorised as medicinal products under ‘The Consumer-Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges)’ Regulation, your right to change your mind and cancel within 14 days is not applicable.
However, we will allow you to reschedule your test within 48 hours of your appointment, but not within 24 hours of your appointment. This will be subject to availability and come with a £10 administration fee. You will need to contact us at info@mhfcovidtesting.co.uk to reschedule your appointment.
You may expect to receive a refund within three working days of your cancellation and we will always endeavour to refund your costs as soon as possible. Nevertheless, we will offer no guarantee that you will receive a refund within a given time despite our best endeavours.
Refunds will be processed in accordance with our cancellation policy. You should also read the section ‘home tests’ and ‘delivery’ for other instances in which you would not be entitled to a refund. If you are entitled to a refund it will be processed and made to you within 5 working days of your request. All refunds will be processed to the same card on which your booking was made.
