Founder of MHF Medical Concierge
Dr Tai is a General Practitioner (GP) with a specialist interest in lifestyle and concierge medicine, and the founder of MHF Medical Concierge, a private medical practice in the heart of Central London.
With more than 15 years’ experience as a doctor, his approach to medicine is simple: good healthcare starts with understanding the person in front of you. He is particularly valued by his patients for making complex medical problems easy to understand and for creating consultations in which people feel listened to, seen and involved in decisions about their health.
Dr Tai trained as a GP following broad clinical experience across paediatrics, ENT, obstetrics and gynaecology, emergency medicine, dermatology and acute medicine. Before studying medicine at Keele University, he completed a degree in Biochemistry, and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for AstraZeneca and MSD.
Through MHF, Dr Tai is particularly interested in how personalised medicine and technology can improve access to healthcare for communities that have traditionally been harder to reach. He is passionate about addressing health inequalities, improving health literacy and rebuilding trust where patients have historically felt poorly represented or understood by healthcare providers
As host of Side Effects May Include… with Dr Tai, he is taking health conversations beyond the consulting room, making medicine easier to understand and creating a space for honest conversations about health, culture and the subjects we do not always talk about openly enough.
Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Tai works as a concierge physician for family offices in the UK and internationally, advising high-net-worth individuals and families. He provides GP services to a number of celebrity clientele and corporate organisations. His wider advisory work extends to healthcare businesses and healthtech start-ups.
Dr T is an avid music fan and an art collector with a particular interest in African and contemporary art. He enjoys working out, watching and playing football and keenly following Formula 1.
